Oostwoud designs, manufactures and supplies (integrated) mailboxes or letterboxes.

Applications
Built-in cabinets are designed for porch fencing. Wall cabinets are generally for applications in covered situations, such as in the entrance hall. Oostwoud’s outdoor cabinets are splash-proof. These cabinets find their application in uncovered situations. Special cabinets are a group of special cabinets for special purposes. For example, we see the filler cabinet or janitor cabinet to complement a setup.

Materials
Hulls and doors are made of double-sided galvanized sheet steel (zincor) or stainless steel AISI 304. These are finished with a polyester powder coating (galvanized steel and stainless steel) or are brushed with 320-grit grain (stainless steel AISI 304).
Letter valves are made of double-sided galvanized sheet steel (zincor), stainless steel AISI 304, stainless steel AISI 316 or clear anodized aluminum. These are finished with a polyester powder coating (galvanized steel and stainless steel) or are brushed with 320-grit grain (stainless steel AISI 304 and stainless steel AISI 316).
Front panels are custom made and supplied in either 2 mm zincor plate (powder coated, indoor only), 2 mm stainless steel AISI 304 or AISI 316 (powder coated or brushed) or 8 mm Trespa.
The mailboxes come standard with locks including 2 keys. Multiple keys per lock available upon request.

NEN standard
All mailboxes mentioned in our brochure comply with the NEN-1770 standard. This standard is set by the Dutch Standardization Institute and covers dimensions and designs that mailboxes in the Netherlands must comply with.
In close cooperation with PostNL and others, we are constantly developing and innovating mailboxes that meet all today’s applicable requirements.

Assembly
Generally, the contractor, assembly or installation company will install the mailboxes.
When replacing mailboxes, it is possible to have placement of mailboxes (excluding the placement and installation of intercom, video) provided by the technical service department of Oostwoud.
Cost for installation and possible disassembly of old units on request.
Replacement of mailbox parts possible by technical service department of Oostwoud.
