Fireworks damage is not a problem at Oostwoud
The mailbox department is busier than usual at the turn of the year. This is because of fireworks. Damage to mailboxes has increased significantly in recent years due to increasingly heavy (illegal) fireworks.
In the past, we were able to handle these situations with urgency, but due to increasing crowds, we are no longer able to do so during regular work weeks these days. Nevertheless, we strive to provide creative and efficient solutions even during peak periods, doing our utmost to meet our customers’ needs.
Interestingly, as Oostwoud, we have two parties in Amsterdam that seek our expertise and assistance in handling fireworks damage in that region. Even the units of other parties in the industry, which get damaged, we can replace.
What Oostwoud does after a report:
When Oostwoud receives a report, the field service is ready to arrive on site quickly if possible and take all necessary measurements. If this has not already happened, we will strive to restore the damaged items to usable condition as soon as possible. It is therefore particularly convenient that we currently have a service truck with a comprehensive set of tools and parts.
Once the field service has gathered all the necessary information, it goes to the inside service. Depending on how busy it is, they try to prepare a quote for the customer as soon as possible. When the order is actually confirmed, we aim to have the repaired unit ready within about eight weeks (depending on the damage). In short, we strive to repair fireworks damage for our customers as soon as possible.
